1. How to Enter. No purchase necessary to enter or win. Fifty (50) cardboard cutouts will be awarded to 50 different people. Each person who is chosen to participate is referred to as an “Adoptee.” One valid entry per person. Multiple entries will result in disqualification. All entries must follow the entry criteria. Beginning February 10, 2012, listeners will enter by registering on-line at sandiegojack.com. Listeners may also obtain entry forms and submit completed entries at the KFMB Stations, located at 7677 Engineer Road, San Diego, CA 92111. All entries must be received by February 16, 11:59 PM. Fifty (50) listeners will be selected by the DSC Morning show on a rolling basis during the submission period. The 50 “Adoptees” will be chosen by the members of the DSC, in their sole discretion, based on their favorite essay submissions.

Listeners will actually be “adopting“ a life size cut-out of Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw (DSC) and will have to take the cut out around with them in their everyday lives for the duration of the promotion.

Contestants who are chosen to “adopt” the DSC cut-outs will document their two-week experience by updating their online profile at sandiegojack.com with pictures and/or videos of themselves with their cut-outs. A point scale will be posted on the station website and provided to the contestants so they will know what their evidence (photos and /or videos) is worth. All contestants must have all photos and videos submitted by 5:30pm (PST) on Friday, March 2, 2012. Photo-shopped or altered pictures will be disqualified. Incomplete and/or multiple entries will be disqualified. One entry per person for the duration of the contest period. Evidence/pictures submitted will not be returned and will become property of Midwest Television, Inc.

Once we get all fifty adoptees picked, we’ll have the official kick off at On the Border in Mission Valley for the ‘Adopt DSC Launch Party’ on February 19th from 1pm-3pm. During the party the contestants will pick up their cutouts, go over the rules, and have all their questions answered. If a contestant is unable to pick up their cut outs they may do so during our normal business hours the following week.

In addition to the 50 contestants, the rest of the listening audience is eligible to win daily “Spotter Prizes.” Beginning weekdays from February 20 – March 2, whenever members of the general listening audience see a cutout around town, they can take a picture with it, submit it online at sandiegojack.com, and be in the running for the daily spotter prizes (spotter prizes change daily). This will allow the entire audience to participate in the promotion. Spotters can enter multiple times but only win once.

If a contestant does not have internet access, that contestant can make an appointment with the KFMB radio promotions department during regular station business hours for assistance in uploading his/her materials in person at 7677 Engineer Road, San Diego, CA 92111. If an appointment for assistance is needed, appointments must be made prior to 3pm on Friday March 2, 2012.

Entry materials must include videos, pictures, names and dates-of-birth, contact address, contact email, and contact phone number.
